Orifice Cascade

Restricting flow in lines is occasionally required in various API Plans; Plan 13 is a typical example where the restricted flow takes place from the seal chamber back to pump suction. When the fluid is not clean, there is always a risk of clogging in small orifice passages.

Orifice Cascades, as their name implies, are designed to restrict the flow in lines by integrating a series of enlarged orifices into a cartridge, thereby obtaining the required flow restriction but with reduced risk of clogging.
